See the whole cost before you move fulfillment.
A low 3PL quote or a faster delivery map can look compelling. Channel Checkride is developing practical tools to compare provider costs, retail requirements, inventory needs, and cash tied up in expansion before you commit.

Five questions before adding a second node.
Use these prompts with your own order, cost, and inventory data. A faster delivery promise is useful only when the full operating case holds up.
If key inputs are unknown, gather them before making a footprint decision. No fixed revenue threshold answers this for every brand.
Choose the smallest tool that resolves the decision.
Start by normalizing a 3PL proposal. Model a second hub when the data supports a serious expansion decision. Bring CCC in when interpretation or execution requires an operator.
Retail-Ready 3PL Cost Comparison Kit

Compare up to five providers on the same operating assumptions, including total fees and retail fulfillment capability.
- Cost comparison workbook and 3PL RFP template
- Receiving, storage, pick, pack, returns, kitting, and account fees
- Hidden-fee checklist and weighted retail-readiness scorecard
- Fictional worked example and short operator guide

Organizes your decision; it does not verify provider claims, select a provider, or manage negotiations.
1-Hub vs. 2-Hub Decision Model
Planned: $249 launch / $349 standard
Test potential parcel savings against added operating cost, inventory cash, working capital, and break-even order volume.
- Editable order geography, SKU, cost, and service inputs
- One-hub and two-hub scenario comparison
- Sensitivity ranges for uncertain assumptions
Scenario estimates depend on your inputs. A second hub is not assumed to lower total cost.
Retail Fulfillment Network Planning Kit
Planned range: $599–$750
Bring the cost comparison and network model together with a SKU deployment matrix, 3PL RFP, and operational checklists.
Network Footprint Review
Planned: around $1,500

What the tools will—and will not—do.
Are these products available now?
No. They are planned offers. There is no checkout or paid access yet. Contact us if you want to hear when the first kit is ready.
Will the kit choose a 3PL for us?
It is designed to make proposals comparable and expose unanswered questions. Your choice still depends on actual quotes, contracts, service requirements, and provider diligence.
Does a second hub always reduce costs?
No. Some parcel costs may improve while a second location adds operating expense, duplicate stock, and working-capital needs. The model will make those tradeoffs visible.
Who are these for?
Founder-led consumer-product brands comparing fulfillment providers, adding wholesale requirements, or deciding whether to expand their network footprint.
Tools are for planning and do not provide legal, tax, customs, tariff, real-estate, or retailer-specific compliance advice.
Tell us which fulfillment decision you face.
We can discuss the planned tools and let you know when the first kit is ready. Mention “3PL kit” or “two-hub model” in your note.
